Hi from the lagoon

Located 124 km from Fortaleza, near Paracuru, Lagoinha Beach is certainly one of the postcards of Ceará . With its 15 km long, the landscape consists of a broad band of fine sand, freshwater lagoons, coconut palms and breathtaking green sea.

Who visits Lagoinha feels that this is the beach of his dreams, a cinema landscape scattered with Jangadas (colored Brazilian rafts ) and very peaceful and happy people.
The site was once a refuge for French pirates, and the legend says that, in the dunes of Lagoa da Barra , treasures were buried , but nobody has ever found anything . That said, with so much natural wealth, who needs treasures?

At one end of Lagoinha is the most beautiful scenery of the beach, and maybe of the whole Ceara. Between two red sand dunes, palm fringed beach form a half-moon ending in offshore reefs .
On the hills, the small fishing village has preserved its authenticity and calm while taking a certain modernity through the near Fortaleza city . You will find all the amenities, a few bars, restaurants, pousadas , mini- supermarket , a pharmacy, a lan house for internet … around a pretty central square where people gather in the evening.

Apart from the kite, practiced on the beach in a still fairly quiet water thanks to the shape of the bay , or in the lagoon ( flat water , regular and steady wind and a lot of space guaranteed ) you can rent a buggy or a quad to visit stunning scenery (dunes , rivers, lakes … ) or surf in the waves in short -board or kite strapless with the locals.
